Best Tourism Advertising Award
This award category applies to advertising for Ontario tourism product (destinations, attractions, tour operators and hospitality) that falls into the following categories: single ads (print, radio or television); series of ads in a single medium (print, radio or television); or series of ads in multi-medium (print, radio and television).

This category consists of one Gold level award.




Best Tourism Marketing Partnership Award
This award category applies to any partnership combining tourism stakeholders including operators, media, sponsors, cities, regions and DMOs, that feature Ontario tourism product with a non-traditional partner such as a retailer, packaged goods or service provider.

This category consists of one Gold level award.




Best Tourism Marketing Initiative under $25,000
This award category applies to any marketing activity, combination of activities or campaigns (printed collateral, various advertising, promotions and/or web) featuring Ontario tourism product (destinations, attractions, tour operators and hospitality suppliers).

This category consists of one Gold level award.




Best Tourism Interactive Marketing Award
This award category applies to e-marketing activities or campaigns (online advertising, e-mails, other online promotions such as podcasts) featuring Ontario tourism product (destinations, attractions, tour operators and hospitality suppliers).

This category consists of one Gold level award.




Best Tourism Printed Collateral Material Award
This award category applies to printed collateral pieces featuring Ontario tourism product (destinations, attractions, tour operators and hospitality suppliers).

This category consists of one Gold level award.




Best Travel Journalism Award
This award category applies to published editorial articles (between 700-1,200 words) that feature Ontario as a compelling travel destination (includes print, TV, radio and web). Advertising features are not eligible in this category.

One overall prize of $1,000 CAD is being awarded for coverage featured in Canada and/or internationally. Please note that monetary awards will be divided evenly for multi-author entries.




Best Travel Photography Award
This award category applies to any published photography, magazines, newspapers, independent photographers and television broadcasts in North America and internationally that feature Ontario as a compelling travel destination. Advertising features are not eligible in this category.

One overall prize of $1,000 CAD will be awarded.
